lyrics
No more can I bestow these pragmatic days and emotionless nights. A blind culture constantly seeks to fill the void inside. A culture that seeks external for truths that lie within the I. The void some can hide, yet all synthesize. Dependence has many forms of control; the bottle, the flame, chemical, sedate. And so we march on forth as slaves of the routine. Living as a surrogate to projected dreams. The void that some can hide, yet all synthesize. Deep down we know it’s all a lie. Yet we'll never question... Lie, just to live the lie (the void that plagues the mind, the void that lies). Lie, just to live the lie (and all synthesize). The void plagues the mind and all synthesize. Deep down we know it’s all a lie. We'll never question... why?

A grand, raw and brilliantly executed piece of blackened folk metal. The acoustic and metal passages flow together seamlessly. A must own for every Canadian - or a must own for anyone who loves damn good music. iamtherevenant

Not gonna lie, I don't usually go in for the super composed, melodic flavor of black metal. That said, I'm thoroughly enjoying this release. Gives kinda an Old Man's Child type vibe. Ghuughra

Somehow they managed to go even deeper into bleak atmospheres and hateful aggression. Their songwriting also evolved further and transports the emotions fittingly. Stellar release with very high production values. Get into the details 🖤 mourner

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
