lyrics
Work, work, work for the things I don’t need so I can buy, buy, buy all those things I can’t keep. Soul may be crippled by the powers that be and convinced I should be grateful for the opportunity. Apathy is killing us and most days I don’t care. Apathy is killing us and most days I don’t care. Why don’t we care? Why wonder what the meaning and squander on second hand feelings? Another day in the endless routine. Apathy is killing us and most days I don’t care. Apathy is killing us and most days I don’t care. Why don’t we care? A lullaby of covert lines, a culture scared of what it might find. Fill this void - I’m so empty. Fill this void of a shallow fucking shell.
A grand, raw and brilliantly executed piece of blackened folk metal. The acoustic and metal passages flow together seamlessly. A must own for every Canadian - or a must own for anyone who loves damn good music. iamtherevenant
Not gonna lie, I don't usually go in for the super composed, melodic flavor of black metal. That said, I'm thoroughly enjoying this release. Gives kinda an Old Man's Child type vibe. Ghuughra
Somehow they managed to go even deeper into bleak atmospheres and hateful aggression. Their songwriting also evolved further and transports the emotions fittingly. Stellar release with very high production values. Get into the details 🖤 mourner
A new compilation series featuring cat-loving metal bands from every state donating their tracks for local animal welfare organizations. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 12, 2018
Two death metal legends unite for a once-in-a-lifetime LP; rife with classic appeal and flavor, it's a manifesto that works in any era. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 11, 2017
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
